Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are chewy, sweet and delicious. Perfect for serving at any happy occasion.

Ingredients

1 cup softened butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
0.5 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips

Follow these Steps

1.

Preheat oven to 375F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder. Set aside.

Cream together butter and sugars until combined. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.

4.

Mix the dry ingredients in until combined. Mix in the chocolate.

5.

Roll into balls of dough and space evenly on the cookie sheets.

6.

Bake for about 10 minutes or until they are just starting to brown.

7.

Let them sit on the baking pan for 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
